Young people from the Kenilworth Centre took joint 1st place in the National Crimebeat Awards in London on 11th March 2015. Their issue-based film, ‘We Are Youth’, was selected as the judge’s favourite, over eight finalists. The film deals with the dangers of ‘sexting’ and how social media can ruin young people’s lives, if mis-used.
The audience included many VIPs, including Clare Hopkinson, High Sheriff of Warwickshire and Jeremy Wright MP, who took time out from his Government duties to congratulate the young people.
